Out! LGTBIQ + Film Festival of the Balearic Islands launches for the first time the call for LGTBI-themed short fiction films and short films documentaries for the 4th edition to be held in 2021.
Mostra Out! addresses the affective, sexual and gender diversity existing in our society.
INTRODUCTION
Out! Mostra de Cinema LGTBIQ+ accepts short films of all nationalities with LGBTIQ themes, which may be eligible for the various sections of the festival: Short Films, and Short Films Documentaries. The works must not have previously premiered on the Internet or any other media in Spanish territory prior to the festival, and must have been copyrighted no earlier than 2019. All films must be yet unreleased in the Balearic Islands; in the case of the shorts films, this will not be considered a prerequisite, but will be considered positively. The organization reserves the right to include films that do not meet these conditions in the program, although not a part of the Festival’s official contest. The organization has the right to include selected short films in future events of year 2021 and 2022 within the territory of Balearic Islands.

APPLICATION
Films may be submitted before 30th of April of 2021 through the Festhome and Filmfreeway platforms. The material required for this subscription is: .MOV (ProRess 422/HQ) or .MP4 (h264) of short films, trailer, sinopsis and technical data, 3 photograms where is not shown the title, film poster.

NOTIFICATION
Notification will be sent before 15th August 2021 by email to the address indicated on the application form. If you have any questions you may write to us to confirm the status of your work by info@mostraout.es
In case of submitting any material and not having response to the organization if the film is selected, the festival will proceed to its screening understanding the submission as a will of participance.
PROMOTION
Promotional extracts (up to 4 minutes) of the programmed titles may be made and used for theatres, Internet, television or other promotional formats. The material provided by the director may be used for promotional purposes or for the festival catalogue. Mostra Out! Organization must be informed in writing of any restrictions in regard to materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Mostra Out! assumes no liability for damage or loss of material during transportation. If damages occur during the festival.
PRESENTATION OF A FILM IN ANY OF THE AFOREMENTIONED FORMATS IMPLIES ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES OF MOSTRA OUT!, AND DECISIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION IN CONTINGENCY WITH THIS ACTIVITY.
